Consider/Approve Central Cafeteria Hot-Holding Cabinets Bid

Background Information :

In addition to advertising, we solicited bids from Federal Equipment Dealers, Hotel & Restaurant Supply, Jackson Restaurant Supply, and Chef’s Supply & Design for the purchase of two (2) hot-holding cabinets for Ridgemont Elementary School (specifications attached). Funds are available for this purchase within the Central Cafeteria Fund budget for the current fiscal year as previously approved by the Board. We received a bid from one (1) company, which is summarized on the bid request tally sheet. The individual bid was as follows:

Hotel & Restaurant Supply, Memphis – $10,106.66

The only bid was submitted by Hotel & Restaurant Supply in the amount of $10,106.66. This company is located in Memphis, TN.

Staff Recommendation:

I recommend approval of the only bid received as submitted by Hotel & Restaurant Supply in the amount of $10,106.66.
